Closing date: 12/02/2025
We are currently recruiting for a Section Leader Clarinet to join our dynamic and vibrant orchestra!
This is a rare opportunity to secure a key role within Northern Ireland’s only professional symphony orchestras. We have continuously attracted some of the best musicians the industry has to offer, affording us the ability to create an inspiring year-round programme of symphonic events, chamber music, broadcast concerts for BBC Radio 3 and BBC Radio Ulster, and a Pops programme performed in Northern Ireland and further afield.
The successful candidate must have exceptional professional orchestral experience and solo ability, with a commitment to always delivering the highest standard of work. In addition, they will also be an inspiring leader in both musical and non-musical aspects, with strong communication skills and the ability to actively develop and support relationships within the section and the wider orchestral society.
In addition to orchestral work, there are many exciting opportunities to be involved in and lead a diverse range of non-platform activities.
Further information on the job requirements, application and selection process can be found in the recruitment pack, along with benefits of working for the Orchestra. The closing date for applications is Wednesday 12th February 2025, and no applications after this date will be accepted. Applications must be made via the Musical Chairs website at the link below.
